About the project
Spacemaze is a B2B software solution that enables businesses to efficiently manage and update their office furniture inventories across multiple locations. The platform offers real-time inventory tracking, interactive floorplan visualization, and QR code integration to simplify asset management.
The objective was to design an intuitive interface that enhances user experience, promotes sustainability through asset reuse, and provides seamless mobile accessibility.
The challenges
Key challenges identified during the project:
Inefficient inventory tracking: Businesses struggled to maintain accurate, real-time records of office furniture and assets, leading to misplaced items and resource wastage.
Lack of real-time updates: The absence of real-time synchronization made it difficult for teams to collaborate effectively or respond quickly to workspace changes or inventory needs.
Sustainability gaps: Without tools to promote the reuse of office furniture and track environmental impact, businesses missed opportunities to align with sustainability goals and reduce costs.
The solution
We implemented a comprehensive design strategy to address these challenges:

QR code integration: Enabled assignment of unique QR codes to each item for simplified tracking, with mobile-friendly scanning and management capabilities.
Mobile accessibility: Ensured the platform is following users to manage workspaces and inventory on the go.
Sustainability tracking: Implemented tools to mod environmental savings, supporting sustainable business practices through effective asset reuse.
